Croydon Harriers has been part of the athletics scene since the 1920s, building a long-standing reputation for both participation and performance, with athletes progressing from grassroots involvement through to national and international competition.

At its core, the club has always been about people coming together to train, compete and be part of something active and ambitious, with a steady rhythm of sessions, events and competitions forming the backbone of the club experience.

As that activity has grown over time, maintaining that momentum without adding unnecessary pressure behind the scenes has become increasingly important.

Creating the headspace to focus on athletes

With Thrive4 supporting the day-to-day running of the club, there is now a much clearer sense of how everything fits together, allowing the team to spend less time navigating processes and more time focusing on coaching, development and supporting members.

Instead of attention being pulled towards what needs checking or following up, there is a stronger feeling of control across the club, with fewer interruptions to the natural flow of activity.

This shift does not change what the club delivers, but it does change how easy it feels to stay on top of everything that sits around it.

Time going back into the club

One of the most noticeable changes has been how time is now used across the team.
